Financial Assistance to Ukraine Act 2025

2025 Chapter 3

An Act to make provision for loans or other financial assistance to be provided to, or for the benefit of, the government of Ukraine.

Enacted [16th January 2025]

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

^I11 Provision of loans or other financial assistance to Ukraine¶

There may be paid out of money provided by Parliament any sums required by the Treasury or Secretary of State for the purpose of providing loans or other financial assistance to, or for the benefit of, the government of Ukraine as a result of—

a the arrangements described as the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration Loans for Ukraine announced on 14 June 2024 at the G7 summit in Apulia in Italy, or

b any subsequent arrangements that are supplemental to or modify or replace those arrangements.

This Act may be cited as the Financial Assistance to Ukraine Act 2025.
